- Memorial High School this week unveiled upgrades to its weight room including new weights and stations and a rubber floor with the Memorial Titans logo on it. The previous floor was damaged by Tropical Storm Harvey almost a year to the day, as Harvey officially reached Port Arthur last Aug. 29. The Titans open the football season next Friday at home against Deer Park. “Proof that PAISD is committed to excellence,” Memorial football coach and athletic director Brian Morgan tweeted. “A bunch of college would love to have our facility, and there’s more to come.” (I.C.
