LeNetta “Teen” Hayes, 65, of Houston, TX, was born on May 3, 1953 in Port Arthur, TX.  She departed this life Saturday, December 15 at 10:40 p.m. at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. LeNetta worked as an educator in the Port Arthur, North Forest and Houston Independent School Districts before retiring in 2012. She is survived by three siblings; Shirley Sams, Michael Hayes (Natalie), and Janice Zeno (Paul); uncle, Versia Jackson; aunt, Ever Lee Jackson; and a host of relatives and friends.

LeNetta’s life and legacy will be honored at a Wake service on Friday December 21 at Greater Macedonia Baptist Church in Port Arthur, Texas from 5-8 p.m. The funeral service is on Saturday December 22, at 10 a.m. at Lilly Grove Baptist Church, 7034 Tierwester St., Houston, TX.  Interment is promptly at 2:45 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur, Texas.
