Hellen Petry Provost was born May 28, 1944, to the late Francis Petry, Sr. and Fannie Petry in Abbeville, Louisiana.  She departed this life on Friday, December 21, 2018.

Hellen was preceded in death by both of her parents, daughter Annette Rene Petry, and brother Francis Petry, Jr.  She leaves to cherish precious memories of her are her children; Anthony Petry, Andre Provost (Pam), Jacqueline Johnson (DeShawn); two brothers, Andrew Petry (Sylvia) and Leonard Petry (Barbara); one sister, Gladdie P. Fowler (Eddie, Sr.); two aunts, Ruth Harmon and Rose Jordan of Abbeville, Louisiana; 13 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00pm with viewing beginning at 12:00pm at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 3920 W. Cardinal Drive, Beaumont, Texas.
