Mrs. Jessie Bell Darby Basquine, 80, a longtime resident of Port Arthur, Texas,  departed this life on January 13, 2019 after a short illness.  She was a native of Youngsville, LA  born to  Edrana Brown and Sidney Darby.  She is survived by her daughter, Shelia Bernard (Clement) of Mesquite, TX, her son, Cornell Darby (Margarite) of Opelousas, LA, ,one grandson, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will  be Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church, 549 W. 11th Street, Port Arthur, TX.  Viewing from 9—11 A.M. and services at 11 A.M.  Gabriel Funeral Home in charge.
