Heritage Festival site
for networking event
The Nederland Chamber of Commerce will host its February Networking Coffee at the Nederland Heritage Festival building a 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Carl A. Parker event
scheduled for Feb. 9
The Museum of the Gulf Coast will host the induction of Carl A. Parker into the Notable People Hall of Fame from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 9.
The museum is at 700 Procter St., Port Arthur. Enter on the Fourth Street side of the building.
The event is admission-free and open to the public.
Shangri La will host
educational programs
Shangri La Botanical Gardens will host free educational programs from 10-11 a.m. Saturdays from Feb. 23 to May 18. The first program is Birds of Shangri La Gardens.

Knights of Peter Claver
to host Mardi Gras dance
The Knights of Peter Claver, St. Mary Council and Court 182, will host the annual Mardi Gras Zydeco Dance at the KPC Hall, No. 182, at 515 Savannah Ave., Port Arthur, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Feb. 2.
Admission is $15 at the door, $12 in advance. Come as you are or Mardi Gras attired.
