Eddie Mitchell, Jr. of Port Arthur, Texas entered into God’s glory on February 4, 2019. He was born December 22, 1952 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Ethel and Eddie Mitchell, Sr.

A visitation is scheduled from 12:00 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Gabriel Funeral Home with Rev. Claude Comeaux, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.

Left to cherish his memory are four daughters, Chandra Dotson (Benjamin), Erica, Keisha and Neja Mitchell; two sons, Harold Mitchell (Michelle) and Devon Mitchell, one step-son Rishawn Perreau; one sister Rose Chaisson (Martin), three brothers, Clifford Mitchell, Glenn Mitchell and Hardy Mitchell (Peggy), Special niece, Alfreda Lee (Glenn), 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
