Donald Paul Beavens, 82, of Groves, Texas went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 11, 2019 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

Donald was born April 30, 1936 in Port Arthur, Texas to Richard Risley Beavens and Gladys Ann Nabors Beavens.  He was a lifelong area resident and a member of First Baptist Church in Port Neches. 

Donald worked for Texaco for 30 years and then went to work in Sales for Maskell-Robbins Pipe and Supply retiring in 1998.

Donald was in the US Army where he did his basic training at Fort Hood.

Visitation for family and friends will begin at 12:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Jason Martin officiating and Reverend Greg Kyler assisting.  Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Phyllis Beavens of Groves; daughter, Jan Guidry of Groves; son, David Beavens and wife Theresa of Port Neches; 3 sisters, Dorothy Swart of Austin, Sandra Gilmartin and Patricia Beavens both of New York; brother, Richard Beavens and wife Jean of Bridge City; grandchildren, Aaron Beavens and wife Samantha, Jason Beavens, Raegan Wyble, and Sarah Guidry.
