Isaiah Covington, Jr., was born in Rosetta, Mississippi on April 6, 1954 to Isaiah Covington, Sr. (deceased) and Girlee Covington (Centerville, Mississippi).  He departed this life Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Isaiah spent 19 years as a truck driver for BNM Trucking, and he retired after being a self-employed owner/operator driver for 10 years.

He leaves behind his devoted wife of 42 years, Mrs. Aletha Covington; one daughter, Shannon Robinson; two sons, Isaiah Covington III and Nekima Rondell Covington; four brothers; five sisters; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and brother-in-law.  He also leaves behind a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 924 Booker Washington, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.  The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
