Jerrell Emmette Terrell

Jerrell Emmette Terrell, 85, of Little Rock, passed away February 21, 2019 with his family at his side.  Born in Groves, Texas to Betro Shay Terrell and Emma Nell Perkins Terrell, he was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, a high school teacher and a home builder. He received his B.S. and Master Degrees from the University of Arkansas.  Jerrell was a Deacon at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty Jean Avery Terrell; sons, Alan Terrell (Gwen) of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Wade Terrell (Tammy) of Beaumont, Texas, and Shay Terrell (Melissa) of Little Rock; brother, J. D. Terrell of Trinity, Texas; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.

Services will be held on Monday, February 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church on West Colonel Glenn Road in Little Rock, officiated by Bro. Randy Hawkins.
