Ruth Geneva Kelly, 94, formerly of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan, Texas.

Ruth was born May 29, 1924 in Plainview, Arkansas to Carson Flewellen and Mille Ann Williams Flewellen.

Ruth moved to Port Arthur shortly after graduating high school and was a longtime resident until moving to the Bryan area 10 years ago. She was a member of Lakeview Methodist Church and retired from Port Arthur ISD as a cafeteria baker after 20 years of service.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Kelly; and her son, Dwane Kelly.

Survivors include her two sons, Larry Kelly and wife Stephanie of Rogers, AR, and Gary Kelly and wife Karen of Rockdale, TX; grandchildren, Christina Kelly, Amber Williams, Jace Kelly, Brian Trebold, and Ann Beavers; great-grandchildren, Hanna Williams, Logan Williams, Macie Williams, Brylon Kelly, Bryton Haak, Avery Trebold, and Madeline Mears.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
