Mayor Derrick Freeman said announced that the city and Motiva Enterprises are in negotiations for the sale of the Sabine Hotel.

The building would be renovated and occupied by third quarter 2021, the mayor said in his Facebook page.

“Exciting times in our great city!” he added.
