JUCO BASKETBALL: Dallas Skyline’s Burney signs with Seahawks

Dallas Skyline senior Kantrell Burney has signed a letter-of-intent to play basketball at Lamar State College Port Arthur.
Burney is a senior two-way guard who poses as a 3-point shooting threat. Statistics on Burney were not available, but he hit 7 treys each against Wylie East and Molina. and made six against Lake Highlands.
Burney is the second signee for the Seahawks’ 2019-20 incoming class. Jadun McCarty of Huntsville signed earlier, and another recruit is expected to ink with the Seahawks on Friday.
