Beaumont ISD has named Ramona Locke girls basketball head coach at West Brook High School.

Locke returns to the district after serving as tennis coach and junior varsity basketball coach at Spring Dekaney. She previously coached at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School in Beaumont and went on to Ozen High School, where she coached boys cross country, junior varsity girls track and was assistant varsity girls basketball coach.

“I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and will do my best to have a program that the community can be proud of,” Locke said. “My focus is to build a program that has student-athletes who embrace the challenges of being great. We will be disciplined, yet aggressive, towards reaching our goal and we expect excellence on and off the court.”
