Nederland police responded to the following calls from May 6 to May 12.

 

May 6

• Theft was reported in the 1300 block of Nederland Avenue.
• A dog bite was reported in the 2900 block of Helena.
• A pedestrian failed to yield right of way to a vehicle in the 300 block of North 21^st Street.
• An information report was made in the 200 block of North 17^th Street.
• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 400 block of South 23^rd Street.

 

May 7

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrants in the 2700 block of Avenue N.
• Assault-family violence – impede breathing/ circulation was reported in the 2600 block of Helena.
• A person was taken into custody for endangering a child – criminal negligence in the 300 block of North 36^th Street.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 2300 block of Avenue B.

 

May 8

• Cruelty to non-livestock animals was reported in the 1100 block of Jackson.
• Found property was reported in the 200 block of North Twin City Highway.
• Duty on striking unattended vehicle was reported in the 2000 block of FM 365.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 1900 block of Queen.
• A person was found to be in possession of marijuana in the 1000 block of Nederland Avenue. Lab results pending.

 

May 9

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 1500 block of South 27^th Street.
• Found property was reported in the 100 block of South 23^rd Street.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 2100 block of North 18^th Street.
• Violation of a protective order was reported in the 500 block of Boston Avenue.

 

May 10

• Disorderly conduct was reported in the 1300 block of Nederland Avenue.
• A person was arrested on Nederland Warrants in the 1400 block of Nederland Avenue.
• A person was arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 1000 block of Avenue H.
• A person was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. The person was also found to be in possession of marijuana (lab results pending) in the 1000 block of Avenue H.

 

May 11

• Theft was reported in the 2700 block of FM 365.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Subject was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance (lab results pending) in the 900 block of South 13^th Street.

 

May 12

• A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 1800 block of Nederland Avenue.
• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated- second offense, in the 2600 block of Helena.
