Harold J. Pickney Sr. 68, died peacefully Saturday June 1st, 2019 at his home. Mr. Pickney was born December 8th, 1950, in St. Martinville, LA to Anna and Joseph Pickney. He retired from Chevron after 42 years and enjoyed coaching adult softball and little league football for many years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Lillian Pickney and son Harold Pickney Jr. (Detra); 7 grandchildren; 3 brothers and 1 sister; and host of nieces and nephews.

He served on the Executive Board of the United Steelworkers Union for 20 years, a dedicated member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a positive influence on many people lives.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4600 Procter Street, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland, TX.
