Lorenzo “Chin” Saucedo, 39, of Port Arthur, died Friday, June 14, 2019. He was born on August 10, 1979, in Mexico, to Antonia Castor Flores and Porfirio Saucedo.
Lorenzo enjoyed taking care of his horse, “Bonita”, cooking, and bar-be-queuing for his family. When he was not working, he also enjoyed fishing and being a craftsman.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Saucedo; daughter, Jasmin Marie Saucedo; sons, Alexander Saucedo and Lorenzo Adrian Saucedo, Jr.; daughters, Jaslyn Guadalupe Saucedo and Juliet Grace Saucedo; baby on the way; grandson on the way; parents; brothers, Jose Cruz Saucedo Flores and his wife, Alma Lorena; Efrain Flores; and Porfirio Saucedo and his wife, Kathy; sister, Angelica Saucedo and her husband, Rene and Ruby Saucedo; paternal grandmother, Josefa Saucedo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jose Flores; paternal grandfather, Porfirio Saucedo; and paternal grandmother, Francisca Flores.
A gathering of Mr. Saucedo’s family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., with his Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont, with his interment to follow at Live Oak Memorial Park, Beaumont.
