Thomas Arthur Tweedel, 68, passed away June 19, 2019 in Austin TX.

Born November 4,1950 to Thomas Earl Tweedel and Bobby Arendale Tweedel.

Thomas grew up in Port Arthur, Texas and graduated from Bishop Byrne High School in 1969.

He worked at Texaco before moving to Austin where he graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Accounting.

He worked at several companies in Austin as an Accountant.

He was an avid hunter who loved deer hunting in the Hill Country.

He delighted in keeping up with friends and family. He especially enjoyed lunches with friends from high school.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Patricia Moran.

He leaves behind his son, Thomas Edward and wife, Fong; grandchildren, Thomas and Emily; three sisters and their spouses, Cheryl and Robert Cole, Bonnie and Greg Becker and Karen and Greg Busfield.

He will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur on Saturday, August 24.

Reception will follow in Kirwin Hall immediately afterward.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made directly to the St. James Building Fund.
