Tiffany Drew and Bennie Gatlin were two of many who enjoyed lunch Thursday at Koko Ramen Poke Bowl, which celebrated a Grand Opening in Port Arthur at 7675 Memorial Blvd.
The restaurant officially opened its doors Aug. 15, but celebrated its Grand Opening this week as part of a community open house.
Drew and Gatlin were first-time visitors, who decided to opt for waiter service.
However, to-go orders can be phoned in at 409-344-9833 or placed online at kokoramenpoke.com. Those orders can be picked up at the bar.
The Japanese ramen restaurant serves different sizes by the bowl, different ramen bases, protein, mix-ins, sauce, toppings and crunch. In addition, it boasts “yummy ice cream,” restaurant officials said, with multiple choices of toppings and tasty bubble tea.
The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
