NEDERLAND — DuGood Federal Credit Union is branching out with a new location at 2708 Nederland Avenue.
The new branch opens its doors to members and the community today (Oct. 28) and will celebrate with a ribbon cutting on Nov. 4.
Attendees are invited to join DuGood’s staff and Board of Directors for refreshments, raising of the flag by Southeast Texas Veteran’s Service Organization and the sounds of the Nederland Bulldogs Marching Band.
“We’re excited to offer this new, more convenient location to our members,” DuGood CEO Jada Kelley said.
“Our credit union was founded in Nederland in 1962. This community is very special to us, and we’re just thrilled to have found a spot right in the heart of the city.”
In celebration, the credit union has a week filled with festivities planned.
An appreciation day for military and first responders, chances to win a $500 Thanksgiving dinner and $1,500 grand prize and a Mid County Madness Tailgate Party are just a few of the fun events in store for credit union members old and new.
The new branch will be DuGood’s 11th location in Southeast Texas, and it will offer full services, safe deposit boxes and a 24-hour ATM.
New Mortgage Center
DuGood’s Twin City Highway location will remain open as their new Mortgage Center, serving members and the community with a full range of mortgage and home equity loan products. Teller services will be available in the drive-thru only.
