If getting fit, maintaining a healthy body and working out is a part of your New Year’s Resolution, the YMCA of Southeast Texas Port Arthur Branch is launching a group fitness regime Jan. 13-18.

The YMCA of Southeast Texas offers group cycling with instructor Nathalie Jones on Mondays and Thursdays from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m.
“This is the chance for us to launch our new group fitness schedule and for members to invite guests to come and try out any class for the whole week for free,” said Lindsey Rossi, aquatics and healthy living director.
“If the guest decides to join during that week, the guest does not have to pay the joining fee. Our theme this year is the Great Gatsby: Roaring 20s and we encourage members to dress up and have a great time.”
Group classes include everything from kickboxing and aerobics to weight training and Zumba. Classes are complimentary for members and $3 per a class for non-YMCA members. For more information, visit ymcasetx.org.
