Betty Levine Gunner was born in Beaumont, TX to the late Murphy and Alberta Getwood Levine on June 11, 1950.
She accepted Christ at an early age and served the Lord faithfully and served others.
She was a 1969 graduate of Hebert High School and retired from Total Refinery of 37 years as a Lab Analysis.
Betty married the love of her life, Leroy Gunner and moved to Port Arthur, TX.
To their union they were blessed with four children.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Shirley Ann Roach.
Betty leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Leroy Gunner; two daughters, Alicia Gunner (Port Arthur, TX) and LaGersha Gunner (Katy, TX); two sons, Cedric Gunner (Katy, TX) and Dedric Gunner (Jazmine), Port Arthur, TX; seven grandchildren, Trennon Gunner
(Shayla), Kiavonni Hall (Donovan), Terron Gunner, Cedric Gunner, Jr., Dylan Gunner, Daphne Caziere and Levi Smith; one great-grandchild, Mariah Gunner; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and a special friend, Latonya Gray.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Strong Tower Ministries, 5100 25th Street, Port Arthur, TX 77642 with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.
Pastor Herbert Fontnette, III will officiate.
Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
