Jefferson County indictments for week of May 20

BEAUMONT — A Jefferson County grand jury indicted the following individuals this week:
- Cyrus D. Arion, 27, of Beaumont was indicted for felony theft with prior theft convictions for an incident that occurred Jan. 30.
- Kevyn Ronderick Guidry, 42, of Beaumont was indicted for felony theft with prior theft convictions for an incident that occurred Aug. 2, 2019.
- Samuel Harris, also known as Samuel Carrol Harris and Samuel Carroll Harris, 39, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, hydromorphone, for an incident that occurred Nov. 9, 2019.
- Johnnie Johnson Jr., also known as Johnie Johnson Jr., 60, of Beaumont was indicted for tampering with physical evidence for an incident that occurred Feb. 17.
- Derrick Charles Jones, also known as Derrick Charles Jones Sr., and Dee Jay Jones, 52, transient, was indicted for burglary of a building for an incident that occurred Jan. 10.
- Kenmit Mondel Kemper, also known as Kenmit Kemper, 46, of Groves was indicted for assault on a peace officer for an incident that occurred Jan. 24.
- Tyler Deshawn Lewis, 21, of Orange was indicted for aggravated assault for an incident that occurred Dec. 18.
- Ebony Lekesha McCray, 41, of Beaumont was indicted for felony theft with prior theft convictions for an incident that occurred Feb. 21.
- Johntavion Murchinson, 17, of Beaumont was indicted for felony theft for an incident that occurred Dec. 6, 2019.
- Christian Robinson, 17, of Beaumont was indicted for felony theft for an incident that occurred Dec. 6, 2019.
- Christian Demetrious Robinson, 17, of Beaumont was indicted for unauthorized use of a vehicle for an incident that occurred July 3.
- Tonya Sue Nichols, 49, of Orange was indicted for unauthorized use of a vehicle for an incident that occurred Feb. 6.
- Dezman Louis Parkerson, also known as Dezman Parkerson, 28, of Beaumont was indicted for evading arrest/detention with previous convictions for an incident that occurred Feb. 2.
- Jonathan Allworth Pelissier, 25, of Groves was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Oct. 8, 2019.
- Jason Matthew Rodgers, 47, of Beaumont was indicted for assault on a peace officer for an incident that occurred Feb. 14.
- Krystal Marie Sanchez, 36, of Beaumont was indicted for assault on a peace officer for an incident that occurred Feb. 10.

- Travon Malik Sibley, 17, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred Feb. 25.
- Shun Eric Simon, 33, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Oct. 21, 2019.

- David Van Tran, 27, of Beaumont was indicted for unlawful possession of firearm by felon for an incident that occurred Feb. 2.
- Aaron Dominique Traylor, also known as Aaron Domonique Traylor and Aaron D. Traylor, 34, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, phencyclidine, PCP, for an incident that occurred Dec. 5, 2019.
- Joel Thomas Wiggins, 38, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Oct. 9, 2019.
- Deandre Yates, 22, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred Nov. 19, 2019.
- Jason Lynn McKnight, 53, of Beaumont was indicted for accident involving injury/death for an incident that occurred March 29.
An indictment is not a final conviction of guilt; it is only a ruling by the grand jury that allows the district attorney’s office to proceed with a criminal case.
