Mr. Merrian Adolph Jacobs was born May 25th 1943 to Abraham and Lucille Bonton Jacobs in Goudeau, LA.
He moved, to Port Arthur, Texas in 1958, where he remained until his death.
He was baptized at the Guiding Star Baptist church by the late Dan McDaniel.
Affectionately known as Adolph, he loved listening to music, watching T.V. and drinking his coffee and Pepsi cola.
Adolph worked at Pearl Beer Company in Beaumont, TX until his retirement.
Adolph loved everyone and everyone loved him. He will be missed dearly.
Preceding him in death are his sister Annie Dee, brothers Melvin (SoSo), Elbert (Dee), Hilton (Mook) and Polite (Jack).
He is survived by his sisters Helen (Tom), Jessie Mae (Nanny), and Betty (Dee Dee); brothers Leslie (Tang) and Harold (Tut) Betty.
Sister in laws; Queen Ester Jacobs, Billie Jean Jacobs.
A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2020 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.
Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
