Julie Chen, who is originally from Taiwan and moved to Southeast Texas in 1982, visited the Port Arthur Rotary Club Thursday to talk about her 2016 trip to Antarctica. Chen has served as president of the Chinese Association of Southeast Texas. She and her husband, Dan, both taught at Lamar University.
