Local motorists are asked to expect alternating lane closures along SH 73 east and westbound from US 69 to 9^th Street, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

State officials said the traffic concerns would begin at 9 p.m. Friday night (March 4) and last until 3 p.m. Saturday (March 5).

TxDOT said the lane closures are due to construction.
