Nederland announces street closure, downed lines, power outage

NEDERLAND — The City of Nederland has announced a street closure.
Tuesday at 11:44 a.m., the city said 27th Street is closed on the North side of Nederland Avenue.
Officials said the traffic signal light at the intersection is without power due to the downed power lines.
Power is out down to Avenue H.
Stop signs are being placed at the intersections of 27th/Nederland Ave and 27th/Avenue H.
