Groves man sentenced to 25 years on child sex assault case

A Groves man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison on a charge of continuous sexual assault of a child.
William Permenter, 39, was found guilty by a jury in Criminal District Court Judge John Stevens’ courtroom.
The sentence was handed down Friday.
