NEDERLAND — Members of the Mid County Cruisers are preparing for the Candy Cane Cruise, which makes it sway through several local cities.
The cruise begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Performing Arts Center at Nederland High School and proceeds down 18th street to Helena Avenue.
From there, members take a right on Helena, left on 21st Street, left on Detroit, right on North 17th Street, then left on Boston Avenue.
The cruise crosses Twin City Highway at the light, turns right on North 5th Street and crosses Nederland Avenue to South 5th Street before turning right on South 5 1/2 Street and crossing Avenue H to Pine Lane.
The cruise turns left on Grand Boulevard, left on Canal, right on 12th Street and left on Doornbos to Texas Avenue.
It turns right on Avenue H/8th Street and crosses Magnolia at the light, then turns right on Port Neches Avenue, make a slight right to Avenue C, left on Merriman to Port Neches Park and end at the boat ramp.
