Dr. Willie Mae Thomas Elmore, daughter of Willie Thomas and Mary Jones Thomas, was born June 9, 1949, in

Franklin, Louisiana. She was a resident of Port Arthur for over 60 years.

She was employed at Park Place Medical Center for over 27 years. Willie retired from PAISD as a Clinical Coordinator.

She was the Executive Director and Instructor for the Program of Health Excellence, Inc.

She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Thomas; mother, Mary Jones Thomas; sisters, Irene Nolan and Bessie Thomas Johnson; brothers, Timmy Thomas and Curtis Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Raymond Elmore; children, John Williams III, Quincy Williams and Selena Elmore; five sisters, Madeline White, Lara Kyle, Lucy Peacock, Angelina Charles and Mary Thomas; three brothers, Allan Thomas, Sr., Jesse Thomas, Sr., Michael Thomas, Sr.; grandchildren Amos, JaQuinton, DeSean , Kiron Williams; great grandchild, Aggi, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral service will be 10 am Saturday, April 27, 2024, at New Hope Baptist Church, 549 W Gulfway Dr, Port Arthur, TX, with visitation from 8 am until service time.

Pastor Donald Frank, officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
