Port Arthur and Mid County motorists can expect alternating lane closures on U.S. 69 northbound from the Fannett Road overpass to Interstate 10 eastbound through Thursday.

Contractors are working in the area from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Expect delays and drive cautiously in the area, Texas Department of Transportation officials urge.

TxDOT also announced there would be nightly closures through Friday on I-10 westbound from Washington Boulevard to Hillebrandt Bayou.

In Orange County, beginning Tuesday, and running through Sunday, the northbound lane of State Highway 87 between State Highway 62 and the Orange County Airport will close intermittently.

Golden Triangle Polymers is moving heavy hauls beginning at 9 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m.

On Saturday and Sunday, heavy hauls are expected to begin at 8 a.m. and run until approximately 8 p.m.

Please use an alternate route or expect delays, TxDOT warns.
