A 39-year-old man reportedly jumped out of a second story apartment window when police arrived to serve him with warrants in Port Arthur last week.
According to information from the Port Arthur Police Department, officers arrived May 6 at Avery Trace Apartments to serve two warrants for assault on a peace officer and evading with a vehicle on Kody Francois.
Francois reportedly fled the scene and PAPD K9 Ranger was used to track the suspect, who was found at Stonegate nearby and taken into custody.
Francois remains in the county jail as of Monday.
