Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from May 29 to June 4:
May 29
- Forgery financial instrument was reported in the 3800 block of Avenue.
May 30
- Troy Sanders, 52, was arrested for evading arrest/detention with previous conviction, forgery financial instrument and forgery in the 5100 block of West Parkway.
- An assault by threat was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
May 31
- Jessica Theobald, 36, was arrested for warrants in the 6500 block of Capitol Boulevard.
- Michael Borrego, 43, was arrested for walking on the wrong side of the roadway in the 5200 block of 32nd Street.
- Chelsea Hoffpauir, 31, was arrested for walking on the wrong side of the roadway in the 5200 block of 32nd Street.
- A theft was reported in the 3900 block of Haynes.
- A theft was reported in the 3600 block of Main.
June 1
- No reports.
June 2
- Burglary of a building was reported in the 6100 block of Gulfway Drive.
- Criminal mischief was reported in the 3300 block of Cleveland.
June 3
- Javaughn Joubert, 18, was arrested for assault against a public servant, resisting arrest, search or transport and public intoxication in the 5300 block of West Groves Circle.
- A theft was reported in the 4700 block of Twin City Highway.
- Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
- Cruelty to non-livestock animals was reported in the 5400 block of Beaumont Avenue.
- A theft was reported in the 5200 block of East Parkway.
June 4
- Amanda Johnson, 31, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and warrants in the 5600 block of 39th Street.
- An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
- Burglary of a building was reported in the 6100 block of Gulfway Drive.
