No charges have been filed as of Monday in the June 3 auto-pedestrian crash that injured a mother and daughter last week in Port Arthur.
Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso said the case remains under investigation.
Police have not determined if a traffic violation occurred.
The mother and daughter who were injured have been released from hospital care, Duriso said.
At approximately 9 p.m. June 3, a woman and her 11-year-old daughter were struck by a GMC pickup truck while attempting to cross the 2500 block of Memorial Boulevard.
The girl was seriously injured by the crash and was brought to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
The driver of the truck stopped and is cooperating with police.
