Sheriff Zena Stephens of Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department received two new airboats just in time for Hurricane Season. Patriot Airboat Corporation of Vidor was the successful bidder selected to manufacture these high-performance airboats.
“We enjoyed working with Captain Danny Walker on all the details of the new equipment,” said Faron Floyd, president of Patriot Airboats.
The entire crew of the Marine Division was excited about the new equipment. The crew visited Patriot Airboats facility in Vidor and conducted hands on training and water training.
