Lamar State College-Port Arthur hosted the Fourth of July celebration at the Seawall with free entertainment and a patriotic fireworks show. The event was sponsored by the City of Port Arthur alongside free ice cream by Motiva.
The celebration included an outdoor mechanical bull, axe throwing, a video game truck, and plenty of other entertainment. Food trucks such as Taco Rey and Boss Burger were at the event as well as free ice cream.
Inside the Carl Parker Center at 1800 Lakeshore Drive were bounce houses where kids got to jump around and even get their face painted. Live music was provided by Port Arthur native Hunter Courts.
As soon as the sun began to settle, many locals sat on the seawall with their families and loved ones to watch the fireworks show happening right across the water.
