Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from July 24 to July 30:

July 24

• Charles Lyons, 53, was arrested for public intoxication in the 3800 block of Charles.
• Theft of a firearm was reported in the 4100 block of Main Avenue.

July 25

• An assault was reported in the 2700 block of Berry.

July 26

• Christopher Hilstock, 37, was arrested for warrants in the 4200 block of Main Avenue.
• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• A theft was reported in the 2100 block of Owens.
• An assault was reported in the 3700 block of Taft.
• An assault was reported in the 6400 block of Warren.

July 27

• A dog bite was reported in the 5800 block of Alabama.
• Criminal trespass and burglary of a habitation was reported in the 6900 block of 32^nd Street.
• An assault was reported in the 3100 block of Hickory Avenue.

July 28

• No reports

July 29

• Karsyn Moore, 23, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3900 block of Highway 73.
• Burglary of a building was reported in the 6200 block of Jefferson.
• An assault was reported in the 4600 block of Gulf.

July 30

• Mallori McBee, 37, was arrested for public intoxication and fail to identify giving false/fictitious information in the 5300 block of West Jefferson.
• Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 3300 block of Taft Avenue.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 3100 block of Boyd Avenue.
• An information report was filed at the 5400 block of Park.
