Juanette Quinn “Queen” (Dorsey) Berry, 67, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on September 3, 2024 in Beaumont, TX.

Quinn was born in Port Arthur, TX on November 30, 1956.

Quinn is preceded in death by her grandparents Grant and Pearl Dorsey, Siblings Jennifer Hanks and Darren Neal of Port Arthur, TX.

Quinn is survived by her mother Pearlie Davis and her husband Robert Berry Sr. both of Port Arthur, TX; children Derrick (Allyson) Dorsey of Orlando, FL, Roderick (Devika) Dorsey of Honolulu, Hawaii, Robert (Brittany) Berry of Groves, TX, April (Jacob) Francis of Beaumont, TX; siblings Marcus (Cynthia) Dorsey and Dana Neal of Port Arthur, TX, Carol (Robert) Harvey of Katy, TX, Cathy Neal of Houston, TX; grandchildren Demetrius, Courtney, Domineek, Devin, Jaila, Jaishaud, Jordan and Jayden; greatgrand- children, Trenton, Trinity, Edith, Elaine and Rashaun.

She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Quinn attended Lincoln High School and spent over 30 years serving others as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Aide. A majority of those years were spent at Gaspard’s Nursing Home with style and grace.

Quinn enjoyed reading, listening to music, spending time with family and enjoying a glass (maybe two) of Stella Rosa. Quinn’s theme music during her battle with cancer was Lil Duval’s Smile (Living my Best Life).

A viewing will be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2024 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 Memorial Blvd., Port Arthur, TX.
