Walkaway from FCI Beaumont Low’s Satellite Camp

BEAUMONT — A search is ongoing for an inmate that reportedly walked away from the low security satellite camp in Beaumont.

Officials with the Federal Bureau of Prisons discovered Raul Garibay was missing at approximately 5:45 p.m. Thursday from the satellite camp adjacent to the Federal Correctional Institution — Beaumont Low in Beaumont.

Garibay is a 32-year-old white male with black hair, brown eyes, is 6-foot tall, and weighs approximately 240 pounds.

The United States Marshals Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other law enforcement agencies were notified. An internal investigation was initiated. Anyone with information about this individual should contact the United States Marshals Service at (713) 718-

Garibay was sentenced in the Northern District of Texas to a 240-month sentence for Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance.

The satellite camp at FCI Beaumont Low is a minimum-security facility.
