Wind advisory for Southeast Texas until Friday morning

On Thursday at 9:26 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid from 3 p.m. until Friday 6 a.m. The advisory is for West Cameron and East Cameron as well as Jefferson and Orange counties.
The NWS states, “Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” explains the NWS. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
