Gwendolyn Faye January, affectionately known as Candy, was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on September 7, 1951. On Friday, January 10, 2025, she peacefully answered the heavenly call to rest.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at First Sixth Street Baptist Church, located at 548 Abe Lincoln Ave, Port Arthur, TX 77640. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, continuing until the service time. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park, under the direction of Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
