Mr. Ellmon (Byrd) (Leon) Credit, 72 years old, and to some EC, passed away peacefully at his residence at 8:55 am, Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in Port Arthur, Texas with his wife, the love of his life, Clarice Ann Credit, of 31 years by his side. He left to cherish his memories are two sons, Louis Sumbler and Darrell Denison; two daughters, Jackie Rose and Anna Whittle; grandkids, Autumn Jones, Anaisia Jones, Kaitlin Green and Kristin Bell; and numerous relatives and friends. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 Memorial Blvd., Port Arthur, Texas. He will be peacefully placed at the VA in Houston, Texas burial grounds with his veteran sisters and brothers.
