NEDERLAND — The Nederland Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nomination letters for the 2025 Mother of the Year.

 

Nomination letters are not to exceed 250 words and should be mailed to: P.O. Box 891, Nederland, Texas 77627 or hand delivered to:  1515 Boston Ave. in Nederland.

  

The deadline for nomination letters is 5 p.m. April 18.

• The mother nominated must live within Nederland school district, although persons sending in letters are notrequired to live in Nederland.

• The letter should include the nominee’s past and present involvement with family, community and any other services.

• Name, address, and telephone number of the nominated mother AND the person sending in the nomination are required.

• If the person nominated is not chosen, she may be nominated again in following years.

 

The 2025 Mother of the Year will be honored at a reception to be announced at a later date.
