The Port Arthur Independent School District and Lamar State College Port Arthur are coming together to host the annual Pathway to Success Luncheon on March 27, 2025. This inspiring event is dedicated to empowering students and educators, fostering valuable connections, and highlighting the importance of Career and Technical Education programs.
The luncheon will showcase the exceptional C.A.T.E. programs offered by PAISD and LSCPA, which provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in various fields. The event promises to be an afternoon of impactful conversations and insightful discussions, all focused on building brighter futures for the next generation.
Event Highlights and Speakers
The event will feature a dynamic lineup of speakers and panelists, including:
- Dr. Mark Porterie, Superintendent of PAISD
- Dr. Betty Reynard, President of LSCPA
- Joe Tant, President and CEO of the Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce
- Elton Hollis, GM of RT Technical and Co-Chair of the Contractors Business Development Group
In addition to the speeches, a roundtable discussion with industry leaders is scheduled for the program. Confirmed participants include:

The event will be held at the LSCPA Carl A Parker Multipurpose Center. Doors for the events will be open at 10:30 a.m.
