The Port Arthur Small Business Development Center invites the community to its Annual Small Business Banquet to be held from 6 to 8 p.m. April 29 at The Venue at Belle Oaks, 15075 Country Club Drive, Beaumont,
The event honors the resilience and success of 16 local small
businesses from Jefferson and Orange Counties while celebrating two major milestones — the 40th anniversary of the SBDC Texas Gulf Coast Network and the 70th anniversary of the U.S. Small Business Administration.

6:00 p.m. – Dinner Served and Awards Ceremony
The evening will feature an inspiring story, networking opportunities, and recognition of outstanding small businesses in the region. Business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community members are encouraged to attend and show support for the vital role small businesses play in
economic growth.

Dana Espinal, MBA, Director of the SBDC at Lamar State College Port Arthur shares her excitement.
“As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the SBDC Texas Gulf Coast Network and the 70th anniversary of the SBA, this year’s Small Business Banquet is especially meaningful,” Espinal said. “Small businesses are the backbone of our community, and we’re proud to support their growth and success. We invite everyone to join us in recognizing the hard work, resilience, and innovation of our local entrepreneurs.”
