Michael Riles of Memorial High School was recognized as one of 40 recipients of the 2024 Dave Campbell Whataburger Super Team, an award spotlighting the ‘best and brightest’ football players in Texas.
The award is a collaborative effort between Dave Campbell Texas Football and Whataburger that serves to recognize rising stars in the state. Riles’ high-level play garnered the attention of multiple universities during his junior year and he only gained more experience during his senior year.
The four-star recruit has already committed to playing at the next level with Oklahoma State University as the edge rusher position. This is a shift from his usual defensive position while still remaining on the defensive side.
Riles will begin his career at OSU for the 2025 – 2026 season in August.
