Car raffle to benefit United Board of Missions

A raffle is underway to benefit a nonprofit organization with the winner taking home a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.
The United Board of Missions in partnership with Bolton Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is holding the raffle. Tickets are $100 each and only 3,000 tickets will be sold. The UBM will pay tax, title, license and dealer document fees.
The drawing will be held June 10. You can catch a glimpse of the vehicle on the Bolton showroom floor. For tickets contact Jay Keith at 409-748-9947.
The organization is a local crisis intervention and family assistance program, formed by churches and volunteers from Mid and South Jefferson County, “driven by God’s love to meet the needs and help families rebuild.”
“The United Board of Missions has been serving the community since 1967,” Debbie Perkins, UBM executive director, said.
The organization is developing new programs and expanding their services.
According to their 2024 Annual Impact Report, UBM helped 28 individuals with back to work, 350 with back to school, 36 with prescriptions, 900 through Share A Toy, helped 50 veterans and 42 people experiencing homelessness.
UBM also aids with food distribution and last year assisted 2,125 households and 5,588 individuals with 85,708 pounds of food and 9,292 meals delivered through meals on Wheels.
UBM delivers the hot meals twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays, to the elderly and severely disabled who cannot get out for meals.
