Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from March 19 to March 25

March 19

• Arnoldo Chavez-Nava, 41, was arrested for driving while intoxicated/open alcohol container in the 5000 block of 33rd Street.
• Sebastian Contreras, 21, was arrested for fleeing a police officer, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failed to maintain financial responsibility in the 2600 block of Rose Lane.
• Sage Monson, 19, was arrested for minor in possession of tobacco in the 2600 block of Rose Lane.
• Renzo Cruces, 22, was arrested for DWI in the 5400 block of 32nd Street.
• A theft was reported in the 6400 block of Jefferson. 
• A theft was reported in the 7200 block of Terrell Street.
• An assault was reported in the 5000 block of 39th Street. 

March 20

• Victor Jackson I, 46, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 5200 block of East Parkway.
• Chad Smith,49, was arrested for failing to identify fugitive intent to give false information and warrants in the 3300 block of Twin City Highway.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
• An information report was filed at the 5600 block of 25th Street. 

March 21

• Aaron Contreras Barboza, 20, was Arrested for Driving Under the Influence by a Minor and No Operator/Drivers License in the 1700 block of Main.
• Unlawful disclosure or promotion of intimate visual material was reported in the 3500 block of Grant.
• An information report was filed at the 2400 block of Crescent.
• A city code violation was reported in the 3900 block of FM 366.

March 22

• David Lucas Jr., 39, was arrested for public intoxication in the 5000 block of East Parkway.
• An assault was reported in the 3300 block of Lay Avenue.
• An assault was reported in the 2800 block of Oak.

March 23

• Brandon Phelps, 47, was arrested for warrants in the 6100 block of Gulfway Drive.
• Diego Demas, 20, was arrested for DWI in the 2400 block of Twin City HIghway.
• An assault was reported in the 6400 block of Washington Street.
• Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 3700 block of Pure Atlantic Road.

March 24

• David Godfrey, 51, was arrested for public intoxication and city code violation in the 4600 block of Twin City Highway.

March 25

• Bryan Courville ,66, was arrested for warrants in the 6800 block of Howe Street.
• Isaac Cruz ,30, was arrested for public intoxication in the 5300 block of West Groves Circle.
• Reginald McClain Jr., 38, was arrested for violation of protective order and warrants in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
