The 2025 Cajun Heritage Fest promises a celebration of music, food, and cultural tradition when it returns Saturday to Port Arthur. Doors open at 11 a.m. at the Bob A. Bowers Civic Center

Headlining this year’s entertainment is Jamie Bergeron and the Kickin’ Cajuns. Joining the musical lineup are Seth Spell & Cajun Strong, Leroy Thomas & the Zydeco Roadrunners, and, making their debut appearance at the festival, Kyle Huval & the Dixie Club Ramblers.

Attendees can expect a vibrant blend of Cajun music, cuisine, and family-friendly fun. The festival will offer a wide array of food and beverages, with an abundance of crawfish.

Traditions such as the Crawfish Races for children and the highly competitive Crawfish Eating Contest will return, offering lighthearted entertainment for all ages.

Festival-goers are encouraged to pick up a “Cajun Foodie Passport,” which guides participants through a culinary and cultural tour of the region. The passport includes stops at Cajun-themed restaurants as well as local attractions such as the Museum of the Gulf Coast and La Maison des Acadienne in Nederland. Those who complete the tour by April 30 will be entered into a drawing for a gift basket filled with restaurant gift cards and other local treasures.

The Cajun Heritage Fest is presented by Cajun Sounds Internet Radio (CSIR.Live), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, in partnership with SETAC, Porter’s Plumbing Solutions, and Doguet’s Diamond D Ranch. Special thanks are extended to the City of Port Arthur and the Port Arthur Convention & Visitors Bureau for their continued support and sponsorship.

Visitors seeking to explore more of the region’s natural beauty are invited to visit the Port Arthur Convention & Visitors Bureau’s website at www.visitportarthurtx.com for additional activities and attractions.
