PAPD search for suspect in Farnham Park shooting

A 24-year-old man is in stable condition following a shooting at a Port Arthur Apartment complex Monday.
The incident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. Monday at Farnham Park apartments on Turtle Creek Drive. The alleged suspect fled the scene after the shooting, Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso said. Detectives and officers are following leads and looking for video footage of the crime.
The motive for the shooting is unknown, he said.
Duriso said neither party lived at the apartment complex and that both had been visiting. The property is gated and features courtesy parol, according to their website.
Duriso said the complex is not an area police respond to frequently.
