Barbara Jacket Park was the site of the 2025 Easter Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt featuring food, fun and the Easter Bunny Saturday.
The free event was hosted by the City of Port Arthur Parks and Recreation Department. Administrative Aid Dominique Gobert said they had 20,000 eggs to hide with 36 golden eggs for ages 0 to 4, 5 to 9, and 10 to 14.
The event also featured six bounce houses, free food, Mobile Video Game Theater, Kona Ice, links, Frito pies and a DJ as well as a visit from the Easter Bunny.
